Sign Up Northern Artistes If You Really Mean Well – Zylofon Media Challenged

Sagnarigu, Ghana – Host of television programme “Din Ghana” (Trending) on NTV, Mohammed Hafiz, has challenged the CEO of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah, to sign up Artistes in the music and movie industry in Northern Ghana if he really mean well for the creative arts sector in the area.

According to Hafiz known in showbiz as Gee Face, “I fee jealous anytime I walk into the Tamale office of Zylofon Media. I admire the beautiful pictures of James Gardner, Kumi Guitar and other artistes hanging on their walls.

“I wish there would’ve been pictures or frames of Fancy Gadam, Macassio and the many other talented and respected artistes from this area who have paid their dues in the industry also hanging on the office walls of Zylofon Media”, he intimated in an interview with Savannahnews last Friday during a press soirée organised by management of the Tamale office of Zylofon Media.

Zylofon Media is one of the largest multimedia entertainment companies currently in Ghana. It offers a bouquet of services including mass media productions, talents grooming and artistes’ management, creative arts productions, marketing and promotions and events management.

Since it launched its well-tailored business plan and snippets of activities for the creative arts industry in Ghana and Africa months ago, management of the company has signed music artistes such as Kumi Guitar, Stone Bwoy, Joyce Blessing, Obibini and Becca.

In the field of acting, the multimedia entertainment company has James Gardner, Toosweet Annan, Zynell Zuh, Benedicta Gafah and Bibi Bright as ambassadors. Management of the company has also bought the rights to the Ghana Movie Awards for 2018 and beyond.

Gee Face who is passionate about the progress of artistes also appealed to Zylofon Media to try and revive the defunct Northern Music Awards so as to motivate musicians especially up-and-coming ones.

“We used to have this Awards programme in the past. It was held only twice but due to lack of support the Northern Music Awards has not been organised again for years now. I think another thing Zylofon Media can do to uplift the image of the Northern Music is to try and revive this particular event” he suggested.

The press soirée according to Seth Sowah, Administrator of Zylofon Media Tamale office, was to enable management acquaint themselves with the media and creative arts industry players as well as propagate the operations and services of the company to the general public through them.

The nightly event brought together musicians, producers, actors, fashion designers and journalists in the Tamale metropolis.
