Qudwah Muslim Community to Hold Lectures to Mark Birthday of Prophet Mohammed

Tamale, Ghana – An annual religious programme by the Qudwah Muslim Community – Ghana to mark the birthday celebration of  the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) will commence today with a lineup of activities including a series of lecture.

A learned Islamic scholar yet to be identified will deliver a lecture on the topic “Prophet Mohammad the Gateway to Allah’s love”.

According to a NorthernWebGh.com report, this year’s celebration will be unique, due to the inclusion of the four days memorial lecture’s ahead of the main event on Saturday December 28, 2019.

The Mawlid lecture’s will be held at the forecourt of Masjidul Qudwah located along the Koblimahagu-Vitting road in Tamale.

A statement signed by the Executive Director of Qudwah Muslim Community, Sheikh Mohammad Amin Bamba said “The memorial lectures is scheduled from 24-27 December 2019 from 3pm-6pm daily. The grand celebration is on Saturday, 28 December, 2019 from 8am-2pm at Masjidul Qudwah, Tamale”.

This year’s celebration is under the theme: “Know that Allah’s Messenger is Among You” (Qur’an 49:7).

Other topics to be taught at the five days lectures include: “Prophet Muhammad the Gateway to Allah’s love”, “The Negative Effect of Doubt’s on Supplication”, and “Believing Women, our Guides to Allah”.

The rest are “Ensuring Safe Pregnancy and Child- birth”, “Is Ghana Operating a Death-trap health System”, “Contribution of Muslims Leaders’ in Human Development”, and “The Role of Statistical Date in Community Development”.

Sheikh Amin Bamba who is also the Principal Chief Imam of Masjidul Qudwah urged residents of Tamale and its suburbs to participate in the celebration for Allah’s blessings.

“Come to be educated, come to be enlightened, come to be blessed by the righteous servants of Allah”, he implored.
