A LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT
Dear Mr President,
My hands feel shaken as I write but I hope you will be able to read my hand writing.
My hands are shaky because I haven’t fed for the past nine months.
My hands are shaky because I’ve labored in the health vineyard yet reap no fruits of my labor.
My hands are shaky because my glucose level is insufficient to supplement my body’s demand.
My hands are shaky simply because I’M HUNGRY.
I’m hungry because I have worked for nine months without a pay, is that not cheating?
Mr President, my colleague; Nurses and Midwives and I have been working for the past 9months without a penny, yes I mean not a pesewa as pay for the services we’ve rendered to the people of Ghana.
Mr President kindly provide us some answers to these questions;
1. Please why haven’t you paid us our 9months service allowance?
2.Please when are you paying us our 9months service allowance?
Mr President, Please we can’t hide anymore from our creditors, we are tired of the hide and seek games we play.
We are tired of serving on empty stomach.
This is not what you promised us Mr President.
Please kindly pay us so that we will stop demanding from Santa this Christmas Just like how contractors and their wives will be enjoying this year’s Christmas?
Mr President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo please this is not the Ghana you promised Ghanaians.
