Loudmouth DJ Tell Jabbed in an Open Letter to Him

DJ Tell

Dear DJ Tell,

I am an ardent follower of northern music and will do anything to promote that brand. I criticize my people when they do wrong and encourage them when they shine.

It is however sad to note that some of you take delight in chastising the guys even if they do something worth celebrating. I believe you have a special hatred space for Abdul-Mujahid Bello(Fancy Gadam) for whatever reason I can’t tell.

Your latest rants against him had to do with his newest project “Customer”. Though I believe you have a right to critique anything you feel like critizing, you must do so with respect.

Your constant tagging of people who disagree with your criticism as Fans is disrespectful and a show of arrogance. I don’t hate you, in fact I like the fact that you are gaining notoriety for bad mouthing people through your show.

It took the likes of DJ Carlos, my brother DJ Gaddafi Don Lansah, Yu Nus, Arnold Mashud, Kawawa, and a host of other guys in Tamale to push the northern brand to this level and as my brother Gadafi said if you have nothing good to say about somebody please shut up.

Fancy Gadam is currently the biggest brand from Tamale and northern Ghana and though criticisms are good to make him a better artiste, your constant barrage of attacks on him is making some of us feel you hate him and his team and not that you are an entertainment critic.

Before I sign off, I would like to say that, I know you will attack me on your show but as I said in my earlier comment about you, “does I care? I don’t really care what you will say about me because I will keep on reacting to your criticisms against northern artistes whether good or bad.

Before you tell me how experienced you are, remember Nash Iddi,Flexx,Ibn Abdallah, Zampreyal and the likes have been there but their criticisms have been taken in good faith.

Have a good day.
