Salifu Saeed, 5th Best Regional Minister – Research

Tamale, Ghana – The Northern Regional Minister, Salifu Saeed, has been adjudged the 5th Best Regional Minister out of 10 Regional Ministers in the country, a research has revealed.

According to the research conducted by FAKS International Service, a Ghanaian research and investigative company, Mr Saeed placed 5th with a score of 85.9%.

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Mr Simon Osei-Mensah, emerged as the overall Best Regional Minister with a score of 91.7%.

The 2nd best was Mr Kwamena Duncan, Central Regional Minister who scored 89.6%, Mr Archibald Yao Letsa, Volta Regional Minister scored 89.2% to emerge 3rd best whereas Dr Kwaku Afriyie, Western Regional Minister placed 4th with a score of 86.7%.

FAKS International Services conducted the survey to assess the performance of Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Regional Ministers, Members of Parliament, Chief Executive Officers of State Owned Enterprises and Public Relations Officers for the year 2017.

The survey was conducted between October and December, which sought the opinions of Ghanaians as to which Minister had done exceptionally well and needs to be recognised.

The 2017 survey project is the sixth edition since FAKS started assessing the performance of Ministers, Deputies, MPs, PROs, and others.

The Chief Executive Officer of FAKS International Services, Fred Yaw Sarpong, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency commended MPs who had been outstanding in the year.

He said the respondents interviewed were mainly students, petty traders, journalists, civil society organisations, traditional rulers, academia, business owners, commercial drivers and among others.
