Ghanaians in Madison Donate Medical Consumables to Salaga Hospital

Salaga, Ghana – The Ghanaian Association of Madison (GHAMA) in the United States of America has donated six boxes of assorted medical consumables and surgical items to the Salaga Government Hospital through the Health and Sanitation Committee of the East Gonja District Assembly.

Presenting the items on behalf of GHAMA to the hospital on Tuesday in Salaga, Alhaji Inua Yussif indicated that the gesture was part of the humanitarian services of the Association to the people of East Gonja and hope the hospital will put the items to good use to improve healthcare delivery in the District.

” The Health and Sanitation Committee under the leadership of Dinepewura Osman Mimina wrote to the association for medical support and they presented us with this to support healthcare delivery in our District ” he said.

The Medical Superintendent of the Hospital Dr. Khalid Sheriff expressed the gratitude of the hospital to the Committee and assured the committee the items will be put to good use to improve service delivery in the hospital.
