Wa, Ghana – Sections of the NPP fraternity have hailed the Newly elected Regional Chairman for the Upper West Region, Saanbaye Kangberee, for his relentless efforts to ensure the suspended Regional Minister, Alhassan Sulemana was Reinstated.
Professor SB Kangberee as he is popularly known, within the past weeks travelled to Accra to plead with President Nana Add Dankwa Akufo-Addo to look at the merits of the case involving Mr Sulemana and reinstate him or give the region a new Minister.
Party members and other concerned youth have since thanked the Chairman for carrying out his duties as expected of him.
The Upper West Regional Minister Was Suspended on 1st February 2018 for “freeing party thugs” believed to have attacked the Regional NADMO Coordinator from lawful police custody.
He was however reinstated on Friday 4th May 2018 following the intervention of the NPP new Upper West Regional Chairman.
