Wa, Ghana – Some members of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (I Am 4 JM Campaign Group} on Thursday October 4, 2018, declared their support for Ex-President John Dramani Mahama to lead the NDC party ahead of the 2020 general elections.
The group threw its weight behind John Mahama ahead of the party’s National Delegates Congress where delegates will decide who to lead the party.
They made this known at a press conference held in Wa, the regional capital of the Upper West Region.
Outlining the motive behind their support for John Dramani Mahama, the spokesperson for the group, Mr. Alhassan Sharifdeen Shash, noted that, the competence and the marvelous performance of the former president are clear to everyone and cannot be swept under the carpet.
“The competence and marvelous performance of JM as president are unmatched. His ability to lead this Nation through thick and thin is ample evidence of his competence” he noted.
