Salaga, Ghana – Police personnel have been deployed to the East Gonja District of the Northern Region in search of Asuma Sulley, a teacher at the Salaga Senior High School for allegedly shooting a student.
Drumbeatsgh.com.com gathers that the victim, Mohammed Abdul- Rauf, 18, a final year student of the Salaga Senior High School has sustained multiple gunshot wounds on both legs.
The victim has since been sent to the Salaga district hospital where he has been treatedand discharged.
In a phone interview with the senior brother of the victim, Master Hakubu, he said the victim has been on suspension for the wrongful behavior.
However, on the fateful day of the incident, the victim, Mohammed Abdul Rauf, was on his way to a friends house when he met some of his mate and decided to have aconversation with them. In the process, the perpetuator, who happen to be ateacher in the school confronted the victim and engaged in exchange of wordswhich broke into a misunderstanding.
drumbeatsgh.com gathers that the teacher then angrily went into his cubicle in the school, brought out a gun and shot at the victim.
The Northern Regional Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Yusif Mohammed Tanko, confirming the incident said efforts are underway to hunt down the teacher for investigations and prosecution.
