Damongo, Ghana – A former Youth Organiser of the NDC in the Damongo constituency in the Northern Region, Alhaji Fusheini Alhassan popularly called Rambo has pledged to support former President John Dramani Mahama’s campaign with an amount of 20,000 Ghana cedis.
In addition to the cash, the former Youth organizer of NDC in Damongo has also pledged to donate 31 cows to the 31 constituencies in the Northern region anytime the former President is visiting any of them to help them prepare adequately to welcome him.
Alhaji Rambo said he is donating the cash on behalf of former executives of the NDC in the Damongo Constituency in Northern Region and on behalf of the teeming youth of the NDC especially those in the Damongo constituency.
He said it is the collective interest of all to pull resources together to bring the NDC back to power.
Alhaji Rambo said he was touched by what the smock weavers of Daboya did by donating same amount to support the former President. He urged all to come onboard since 2020 elections is an all out affair.
He said the time to vote out the NPP is now to pave way for John Mahama to continue where he left off from.
When asked about the former President’s chances of winning, he said the Presidential primaries is not his focus since even kids in Ghana knows that John Mahama is leading the party in 2020 to beat the NPP.
