He said “Hopefully, in 2019 the next District Level Elections would be conducted nationwide and urged all members of the House, to put aside their differences and work together for the good of the district and its people.
Addressing the district ordinary meeting in Nandom on Wednesday, Mr. Aasoglenang said Nandom is progressing steadily on the Open Defecation Free ladder.
“The District has moved from 91 percent to 96 percent in September 2018. Our target is to achieve 100 percent by close of year 2018” he said.
He appealed to all Assembly Members to support the District Assembly to meet the target.
On the issue of the District Performance Assessment Tool for 2016, Nandom District scored 96 percent.
He said 570 Desks, 220 Mono Desks and 250 Dual Desks, have been supplied and distributed to some selected schools.
This he explained is to help augment the pressing needs for the Desks in the various schools which are without enough desks.
