Damongo, Ghana – The Committee on the creation of the Savanna Region in the West Gonja District, has organised a float scheduled to take place on the principal streets of Damongo.
The float is geared towards creating awareness for the referendum on the Savanna Region.
The meeting for the float is the forecourt of the Ghana Education Service office, Damongo at 7:00am on Thursday December 6, 2018.
Nkilgi FM spoke to the Secretary of the Committee for West Gonja Kelly Gbolo Mbonwura and he said the march is for all and reiterated his appeal to market women, teachers, politicians and the youth to come out in their numbers.
Mr Kelly told Nkilgi FM “Yes” is yellow on the ballot paper and commended the Bole based station for the massive publicity on the creation of the Savanna Region.
In a related story, the Savanna Region campaign Committee in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba will embark on a float at Gindabor tomorrow Friday.
Another float will take place at Tuna on Monday 10th December, 2018.
