Tamale, Ghana – Abdullah Gunu, a leading figure of the New Patriotic Party youth in the Northern Region, has been appointed Chairman of the Publicity and Media Committee of the youth wing in the region.
PMC is one of the eight working committees of the NPP youth wing and a very important arm of the youth wing.
“I was overwhelmed by the readiness and commitment of our gallant party guys to deliver on the objectives of youth wing and the party as a whole”, Ghana Alhassan, commander of the NPP Youth Wing in the region said when he inaugurated the PMC in Tamale on Wednesday.
Mr. Abdullah Gunu popularly known as Vigilante Alhassan thanked the leadership of the NPP in the Northern Region for the confidence reposed in him to Chair and Lead the Publicity and Media Commitee of the Youth Wing of Npp.
“The team is an embodiment of great talents and we would gladly deliver, InshaAllah”, he said in his brief acceptance remarks.
Vigilante Abdullah Gunu is a founding member of Tescon-Batco chapter of the NPP and former Tescon Communication officer at the University of Ghana.
He has also been a member of the Northern Region communication team and a special assistant to the MP for savelugu constituency, Alhaji Mohammed Abdul Samed Gunu.
