Buipe, Ghana – The Member of Parliament for Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency, John Abdulai Jinapor, has supported the Central Gonja Local Coordinating Committee with an amount of Ghc10,000.00 to help convey voters who reside outside of the district to enable them cast their vote in the upcoming referendum for the creation of Savannah Region.
This came at a time when all key stakeholders have been tasked to contribute in diverse ways in support of the campaign for a YES VOTE at the upcoming referendum to carve Savannah Region out of the existing Northern Region.
The MP has been supporting the activities of the Central Coordinating Committee as required by all MPs and appointees from Gonjaland.
Mr. Jinapor who already supported the Central Organising committee with an amount of Gh¢5,000 as part of contribution from stakeholders also supported the Central Gonja Planning committee with Gh¢7,000 during the visit of the Justice Brobbey commission of enquiry
He has pledged his unflinching support for the District in all activities gearing towards the YES VOTE campaign and beyond the referendum.
As part of the sensitization process, Mr. Jinapor will be visiting various communities within the constituency from 22-26 December, 2018 for the awareness creation on the referendum slated for 27th December, 2018.
