S/R: Yagbonwura Invites Stakeholders in Gonjaland to a Meeting

Damongo, Ghana – The King of Gonja Yagbonwura Tuntumba Boresa, has on behalf of the Gonja Traditional Council expressed his profound gratitude to all Gonjalanders who contributed in diverse ways to the success of the 99.5% YES votes to confirm the substantial demand and need for the Savannah Region.

Accordingly, the Yagbonwura is inviting all paramount Chiefs and people of the North Mo Traditional Council, the Ambassasor of the Savannah Region, the Strategy Commitee of the Savannah Region Campaign, members of the Supervisory Committee of the Savannah Region Campaign, all Municipal and District Chief Executives of Gonjaland, Members of Parliament, all Decentralised Committees, the Gonjaland Youth Association and all ethnic groups to a stakeholders meeting.

The said meeting is slated to take place at Damongo Senior High School Assembly Hall on Saturday 12th January, 2019 at 10:00am.

The purpose of the stakeholders meeting among other things is to congratulate all sons and daughters of Gonjaland for the victory so far, assess all activities right from the submission of the petition to the referendum and to discuss the future of the Savannah Region.
