Damongo, Ghana – Former Minister of Agriculture under the erstwhile John Mahama administration Alhaji Mohammed Muniru Limuna has told the good people of Damongo that the NDC and NPP will not be used to judge anyone on the day of judgement when he or she dies.
Speaking at the 7th day funeral prayer of Chief C.K Saaka Saawura in Damongo, Alhaji Limuna urged the people present to adhere to the belief of “loving and seeing ourselves as one people since politics came to meet brotherliness”.
He said as Muslims, it is hypocrisy to say “Alhamdulila” (Praise be to God), to your fellow Muslim only to go behind visiting shrines to see his downfall.
Alhaji Limuna therefore urged all present to prepare very well for the day of judgement since party politics will never follow us to the grave.
Alhaji Limuna Muniru donated 2,000 Ghana cedis on behalf of Former President John Dramani Mahama at the funeral.
Among the dignitaries present at the funeral ceremony were former Ministers and DCEs under John Mahama administration, the MP for Yapei Kusawgu, John Jinapor, MP for Damongo, Adam Mutakilu, Deputy Chief of staff Abu Jinapor, and both NPP and NDC Executives from Damongo, Bole-Bamboi and Yapei- Kusawgu constituencies.
