Bole, Ghana – The CEO of Kalamonia Photos and Gbaane Transport, Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana populaly known as Professor Kalmonia, has declared his intention to contest the Savannah Region NPP Chairmanship post to lead the party into the 2020 elections.
Speaking to Bole based Nkilgi FM, Prof Kalamonia said “this has become necessary due to the clarion call from delegates across the length and breadth of our newly created region”.
Prof. Kalamonia told Nkilgi FM that as a patron of the NPP in the current Northern Region, he has made enormous strides in uniting the party in constituencies where there were challenges after the constituency elections between the party hierarchy and government appointees.
Prof. Kalamonia encouraged the rank and file of the NPP to consolidate the unity by electing him to serve as Savannah Regional NPP Chairman.
Prof. Kalamonia explained to Nkilgi FM that he lost as the Northern Regional Vice- Chairman of the NPP because of his love for the Savannah Region.
He said many were not happy with the role he played to ensure the Savannah Region was created and so voted against him.
The NPP Savannah Regional Chairman aspirant enumerated so many things he did for the NPP and urged all those who will be going into the race to remember that they are one people in one party with a common purpose of securing another mandate for NPP in 2020.
He promised to run a clean campaign going into the contest since according to him “the party must and should remain appealing to all of us after the contest”
