According to the Youth Organiser, former President John Dramani Mahama is tried and tested; well marketed; well positioned to wrestle power from the NPP come 2020 and will continue the numerous infrastructural projects he started which has been abandoned by the NPP upon taking over power. He said former President John Dramani Mahama is will give their Constituency a fair share of national development when he win power in 2020.

The well attended forum discussed the strengths and weaknesses of the NDC in the Constituency, identification and issuance of party membership cards, educating the youth on prevention of spoiled ballots, payment of party dues, self-security and guidance at the polling stations with the working committees inaugurated and sworn into office.

Issahaku Yahaya Kalusha encouraged the youth and all Party sympathizers not to be intimidated by the lawlessness of the NPP Vigilante groups and that they will protect the ballot come 2020 notwithstanding the intimidation tactics employed by the NPP hoodlums called Vigilante groups.

“Indeed we will match them boot for boot and we will do so within the laws of Ghana” he said.

Yahaya Issahaku Kalusha called on all to come on board to help him succeed in moving the NDC into victory come 2020.

He said the NDC can only achieve success if they work together in unity devoid of all personal, tribal and religious differences and that they need to work in order to minimize the cases of spoilt ballots as this will help uplift the fortunes of the party moving forward. “This is one of my major projects as the youth Organizer and I will marshal resources to ensure no spoilt ballots are recorded in the Primaries and subsequently in the general elections”; he said.

All speakers at the meeting emphasised on working in unity to win power 2020 but pledged to match the NPP to boot to boot, blow to blow, bullet to bullet matching of the NPP coming 2020 election.

The NDC Youth Organiser for the current Northern Region Alhaji Inusah Mahama encouraged the Youth working committee to work hand in hand with the constituency executive to ensure victory for NDC in 2020 general elections. He added that NDC will be victorious if only the grassroot is united and committed.

“Victory will be ours if we are united, united not by roadside greetings but united as we do our things in common, united as we attend party gatherings together, united as we attend funerals and weddings as NDC family, this will bring victory to us. With unity we can match the super incompetent NPP boot to boot, blow to blow and bullet to bullet”; he said.
