Damongo, Ghana – The King and Overlord of Gonja, Yagbonwura Tuntumba Boresa (I), will be conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree and Professorship in acknowledgement of his dedication to progress and Development of the Gonja kingdom and the entire country.
The Honorary Doctorate Degree and Professorship to be conferred by the Poltava University of Economics and Trade in Ukraine (PUET) was decided on by the University Council, Academic Board and other boards of the University.
The Honorary Doctorate Degree and Professorship would be conferred on him at a Special Congregation to Honour the Yagbonwura at the Jakpa Palace in Damongo on Saturday 20th April, 2019 which will be attended by all the Paramount Chiefs of Gonja Traditional Area as well as sons and daughters of the land.
Meanwhile Bole based Nkilgi FM would cover the programme live to its listeners in the Bole, Sawla- Tuna- Kalba and parts of West Gonja, North Gonja, Central Gonja and Wa West Districts.
