Nandom, Ghana – The NDC’s 2020 parliamentary candidate for Nandom Constituency, Dr. Richard Kuuire, has congratulated all indigenes of the area who made it to the list of the 100 most influential personalities from Northern Ghana.
The 100 MIPs is an initiative of Tamale based media and development communication company, Rudder Communications (RudCom) and its subsidiary, SavannahNewsOnline.Com.
The 100 MIPs is a human capital development project that seeks to encourage young people to read the biographies and autobiographies of successful and influential people so as to boost their level of confidence to enable them achieve their goals in life.
The annual project is intended to benefit children in basic and senior high schools as well as those at the tertiary level in the Upper West, Upper East, North East, Northern and the Savannah Regions of Ghana.
Fifteen citizens from the Nandom area made it to the 100 MIPs. They are including revered dermatologist Prof. Edmund M. Delle, Prof. David Millar, Prof. Methodius Tuuli, Prof. Martin Morgan Tuuli, Prof. Juventus B. Ziem, Prof. Domwin Dabire Kuupole, Ambrose Dery, Martin Dery, Dr. Vincent Nofong, Victor Pul, Emmanuel Soglizu, Alexander B. Bewong, Antoinette M. Delle, Dr. Edward Gyader and Ghana’s first female metallurgist Catherine Kuupol Kuutor.
The former Director-General of the Ghana Prisons Service in a statement copied to Savannah News said “I wish to use this opportunity to congratulate you for your milestone achievements. This success was not chalked on a silver platter. Indeed, you have worked hard and you got it meritoriously. Kindly accept my felicitations on this wonderful recognition of your hard work.”
