Mecca, Saudi Arabia – The Paramount Chief of the Mion Traditional Area in the Dagbon Kingdom, Mion Lana Abdulai Mahamadu as part of his pilgrimage to Mecca in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has organised Quranic recitation for a peaceful but prosperous Dagbon and Ghana as a whole.
The intent of the Quranic recitation was for the Yaa Naa to superintend over a peaceful Dagbon.
His Royal Highness asked the Imams to pray for the Yaa Naa and the entire Dagbon.
The event was attended by the Chairman and other members of the Hajj Board including Hajj Farouk, Dagomba Boy, Dr Sidik et al. The event also saw the presence of the Ghanaian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh T.B. Damba.
The extremely colourful event also saw the participation of members of the Dawah committee of the Hajj Board led by Doctur Mohammed Ibrahim Mohammed.
During the climax of the event, the Mion Lana the Mion Lana who was accompanied by Diare Lana Alhaji Abubakari, ceased the opportunity to say that he’s in good talks with his brother the Yoo Naa Abdulai Yakubu Andani.
