We’ll Continue to Invest in Improved Network Quality – MTN Boss

Sagnarigu, Ghana – Chief Executive of MTN Ghana, Selorm Adadevoh, has reiterated the commitment of the company and its management towards providing quality service to all clients no matter their location.

According to Mr. Adadevoh, as a demonstration of that commitment, the company since 2018 took steps to improve on network quality and invested in 26 new 2G sites, 57 3G sites and 41 4G sites across the Northern Region.

In terms of corporate social responsibility investment, he said MTN through its foundation had supported the Yendi Shea Butter Women’s Group (Tizaa Dini), selected basic schools in the Nanumba South Municipality, Kanvilli Presby JHS and the Tamale Teaching Hospital Neonatal Centre among others.

He also dispelled rumours that MTN mobile money was shutting down and urged customers to consider the continuous investment the company was making in the areas of improved network quality and corporate social responsibility as evidence that proved MTN was still in serious business.

Mr. Adadevoh said these when he hosted a cross section of customers and journalists at the 2019 MTN Y’ello soiree at the Modern City Hotel in Sagnarigu.

The MTN Y’ello Soiree is an annual event held to honour customers for their loyalty, dedication and continuous patronage of MTN services.

This year’s soiree like the 2018 edition was also well attended by people from the academia, businessmen and women, media professionals and politicians among others.

There was a cocktail party and photo session preceding the entire event. Other things including music and dance, raffle draws and sumptuous meals were served to all invited guests.

After more than ten years of operation in Ghana, MTN currently has over 1.3 million people hooked onto its network and nearly 7000 mobile money agents in the Northern, North East and Savannah Regions.
