Tamale, Ghana – MTN Ghana Foundation has presented 600 copies of core mathematics study guides to Ghana Senior High School in the Northern Region and Salaga Senior High School in the Savannah Region.
The donation by the MTN Ghana Foundation was part of its contribution towards enhancing the tuition of science and mathematics in six SHSs in Ghana.
In Northern Ghana, Ghanasco and SASS are the first to benefit from this project was a response to an appeal by the Ghana Education Service to support some selected SHSs in the country. Ghanasco and SASS each got 300 copies of the books.
Kwami Aseye Akude, MTN Regional Branches Manager who presented the books to the Headmistress of Ghanasco, Hajia Amina Musah, urged the school’s authorities to put them to the right use.
Hajia Amina commended MTN Ghana Foundation for the support and promised to that the books would be made available for students and teachers to use them for their intended purpose.
