Tamale, Ghana – The move of God is passing through Tamale the Northern Regional capital this week with Holy-spirit filled prayer meeting to be led by the founder of Fountain Gate Chapel International, Rev. Joseph Eastwood Anaba.
Known for his forthright preaching of the word of God, Rev. Eastwood Anaba ultimate objective at this upcoming event is to pray for the peace and economic prosperity of Northern Ghana as well as the unity and progress of the body of Christ in the area.
Predictably, his messages at this big gathering of mainly Christians dubbed “Revival 2019” would most likely centre on the Holy Ghost, righteousness, discipline and order in the body of Christ as he is known to have delved much into these topical issues in recent times as a preacher.
Being organised by member churches of the Fountain Gate Chapel in the Northern Region, the event is open to all especially Christian churches in the Tamale Metropolis and its adjoining districts.
Rev. Jim Ramtin Adombila, Head Pastor of Fountain Gate Chapel, Liberation Pastures in Tamale who launched Revival 2019 on Sunday, entreated all Christians and non-Christians attending the Revival to come expecting the touch of Christ in every area of their life.
He told journalists at the launch that, a neutral place has been secured at the Tamale campus of the University for Development Studies where Revival 2019 would kick-start from Wednesday December 4–6, 2019 with morning sessions at 9am and evening sessions at 5:30pm.
According to him, plans are far advanced in terms of preparation and logistical arrangements towards organizing a very successful Revival at the UDS Auditorium.
“We have a security team, so that day you’ll see policemen and other people in place. We have our own internal security that is linked to the ushers who will keep everything in check. We have a medical team that is standing by with doctors and nurses who will be taking care of emergency situations. We even have a set up to handle children. So people who have their children, they have what we call a children’s school and they would be taught. There will be tight security there too and at the close of a session you’ll have to be verified to be sure your child is there”, Rev. Adombila explained.
An estimated 2000 people from member churches of Fountain Gate Chapel International and other churches in the Northern Region are expected to participate in the event each day for the three-day period.
Earlier in a sermon titled “Better is the end of the matter than the beginning”, he said how one started 2019 was not as important as how the person ends it saying “we’re in the month of December the last month of the year and everyone need to end the year very well.
“Never give up until the end of December 2019. Whatever you have desired in your heart, keep pushing and by the grace of God before or by the end of December 2019 you would have gotten it”, he urged.
