National Farmers Day: Ghanaians Should Eat Locally Produced Rice – APC

Tamale, Ghana – The All People’s Congress (APC) is asking all Ghanaians on the occasion of the 35th National Farmers Day celebration to make a solem decision to eat locally produced rice henceforth.

While congratulating the gallant Ghanaian farmers for their contributions to the nation in the agriculture sector, the opposition party in a statement said  “We urge Ghanaians on the Occasion of the 2019 National Farmers Day to eat locally produced rice and other foodstuff. Eating what we grow will help in the sustainability of our cedi and reduce unemployment drastically.

“We cannot continue to boast about our vast land and still import rice, maize, onion, tomatoes and corn from Thailand, Vietnam and Burkina-Faso when we can use the same money to engage young unemployed Ghanaians”.

THE ALL PEOPLE’S CONGRESS ( APC ) FARMERS DAY MESSAGE.

HAPPY FARMERS DAY!!!

The leadership of All People’s Congress (APC) wish to congratulate our gallant farmers and fisher folks across the country on the Occasion of the 2019 National Farmers Day.

To all farmers and persons who have invested in the agric sector to support our Economy, we say Congratulations. The National Farmers Day over the years has been an event to acknowledge and award deserving farmers for their efforts. We in the APC are more concern about improving the standard of living of our gallant farmers to motivate young Ghanaians especially members of Graduate unemployed Association of Ghana to take the baton from the older generation.

Under the leadership of Dr Hassan Ayariga as President of the Republic of Ghana, Drastic measures will be taken to ensure our gallant farmers receive free health care services for their contributions.

We urge Ghanaians on the Occasion of the 2019 National Farmers Day to eat locally produced rice and other foodstuff. Eating what we grow will help in the sustainability of our cedi and reduce unemployment drastically.

The APC shall put best policies to help the Agriculturally sector grow when given the nod in 2020. We wish everyone happy farmers day.
