Revival 2019: Denominationalism, Doctrinalism Destroying The Body of Christ – Prophet Godwin

Prophet Godwin Sarfo Annan

Tamale, Ghana – Founder and Leader of Holy Hill Chapel Worldwide in the Northern Region of Ghana, Prophet Godwin Sarfo Annan, has observed that denominationalism and doctrinalism were the strongest weapons being used by the enemy at this end time to destroy the body of Christ.

Prophet Godwin Sarfo Annan said Christianity would have been the most united faith compared to any faith in the world, but said some men of God were so fixated with denominationalism and doctrinal differences which was hugely responsible for dividing believers whenever it was time to push a common agenda.

The forthright televangelist and pastor of one of the fastest growing charismatic churches in Tamale, therefore, urged Christians to love and support one another especially activities like Fountain Gate Chapel International’s “Revival 2019” and other similar ones that were geared towards promoting God’s kingdom business.

Speaking to Savannah News during “Revival 2019”, a prayer event of Fountain Gate Chapel International held in Tamale recently, he commended the leadership and members of the Anglican Church, International Central Gospel Church, Lighthouse Chapel International and Holy Hill Chapel Worldwide among others, for gracing the occasion.

According to Prophet Godwin, the founder of Fountain Gate Chapel International, Rev. Joseph Eastwood Anaba, was a season man of God who had borne great fruits over the years.

“As a global revivalist who has come to Tamale to hold a revival like this, a lot of bishops should have come with their members to participate in the programme. But many of them are not here. For me as Prophet Godwin, I have had to put on hold all church activities at Holy Hill for the week just to take part. I have brought twenty members including pastors to this event.

“When you organize a programme and other people from other churches refuse to come simply because you don’t allow your church members to attend other pastors’ programmes, God is not glorified. So pastors in Tamale and wherever should allow their members to attend events of other pastors so that they can learn new things to build their faith”, he opined.

“Revival 2019” is an annual event of member churches of Fountain Gate Chapel International in the Northern Region. It is an open event to all especially Christians in the Tamale Metropolis and its adjoining districts to come together to have fellowship, pray for peace and prosperity of Northern Ghana as well as the unity of the body of Christ.

The three-day event featured the founder and leader of the Fountain Gate Chapel International, Rev. Joseph Eastwood Anaba and Rev. Clement Anchebah, Chairman of International Presbytery at Fountain Gate Chapel International.

Over one thousand people including pastors, church leaders, students and primarily members of Fountain Gate Chapel International participated in the event held at the Tamale campus of the University for Development Studies.
