Mankuma Accident: Death Toll Reaches 5

Mankuma, Ghana – Five people including a driver’s mate died on the dawn of Wednesday December 25, 2019 following a serious collision between a Ssanyoung minibus and a Sprinter benz bus on the Mankuma-Bole road in the Bole District of the Savannah Region of Ghana.

Initially, Bole based Nkilgi FM reported that 3 people died instantly when the accident occurred on Wednesday. But after the injured were rushed to the Bole Government Hospital, two more people died.

The Sprinter Benz bus was traveling with passengers from Bole while the Ssangyoung minibus was also traveling from Sawla towards Bole when they both collided near the Mankuma Dam.

It is still not clear what actually caused the accident. Savannah News is making follow ups and will update readers later on.
