Covid-19: Deputy CEO of SIF Donates to Health Facilities in Nandom

Nandom, Ghana – Deputy CEO of the Social Investment Fund and native of Nandom Municipality in the Upper West Region, Alois Kyaakpier Mohl, has presented assorted items worth thousands of cedis to two health facilities as his contribution towards the fight against coronavirus (covid-19) pandemic.

The two health facilities are the Nandom Municipal Hospital and Better Ghana Clinic.

These donations followed a recent appeal made by another native of Nandom and parliamentary candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Dr. Richard Kuuire, urging all well-meaning Nandome (citizens) to support the coronavirus fight in their own little way.

“The fight against Covid 19, is a community action far more than government responsibility. Yesterday, 27th March, 2020, I contributed my widow’s might by donating a total of 3,000 gloves, 860 cakes of carbolic soap, 30 gallons of liquid soap, and 6 mini jars of surface sanitizers to two health facilities in Nandom, my beautiful hometown; Nandom municipal hospital, and Better Ghana clinic”, Mr. Mohl said in a Facebook post on Saturday.

He however, appealed to fellow natives to support the coronavirus fight in Nandom by donating personal protective equipment and other items to Health facilities in the area.

“I humbly urge all sons and daughters of Nandom, and friends of Nandom to help with PPEs. The health facilities in Nandom are in dire need”, Mr. Mohl stressed.
