Sissala East: Assembly Presents 31 Motorcycles to Members

Tumu, Ghana – The Sissala East Municipal Assembly has taken delivery of 31 Supreme (CDI 150) motorcycles and 31 crash helmets from central government.

The motorcycles were presented to the Assembly members on Thursday October 14, 2021 at the premises of the Municipal Assembly office in Tumu.

The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Adams Moro told Radford FM in an interview that the bikes were distributed to the 21 elected Assembly members and 10 government appointees.

He appealed to them to “handle them as though is theirs”.

He said at the time of taking delivery of the the motorcycles at the Assembly, they were all intact.

Meanwhile, some of the Assembly members who spoke with Radford FM complained that the motorcycles were “not fit for our environment and the nature of our roads and as a result cannot serve their purposes effectively”.

They however commended the government for “timely” providing them the motorcycles.
