JEWELRY OR NO JEWELRY!
Do you put on earrings; ring; necklace; etc? Good; BE MODEST!
Do not underlook or regard them that do not put on jewelry as low and lay or attach no stigma toward them. Just as everybody has the right to spend their monies as they please, so also they may decide not to venture along with you.
Also, these group of people have counted the cost hence their decision not to wear or put on jewels.
Do you NOT put on jewelry? Good; MODESTY IS NOT REQUIRED!
Do not stigmatize those who put on jewels. They are the same as you.
Like you, they who put on jewelries have also counted the cost that they are able to pay the price — MODESTY!
Now to both groups, jewelry group or no jewelry group.
There is no commandment either to wear or not to wear jewelries; it is therefore a personal choice.
Extremists or those outmost would overdo things, thereby abusing its intended beauty as visioned by God.
Those inmost or low would reject the use of things, thereby ignoring to use what God has given.
The line between these two is where you should place yourself. That line is called MODESTY.
Jesus said, if your right arm would prevent you from entering the Kingdom, CUT IT OFF! So if you know you love your jewelries more than anything God, or that God is being challenged by your jewelries, THROW THEM AWAY just as the children of Israel were told to cast away their jewelries. There, jewelries became the god of the children of Israel in the absence of MOSES.
However know that these very jewelries were collected from the Egyptians on the command of God. So God gives you a thing, but if you know that thing would make you live a SINFUL LIFE, destroy it!
It is God who gave you the arm right but God is saying to you again to cut it off “IF” it will prevent you from entering the Kingdom of Heaven , but IF NOT then you may continue using it.
Use or don’t use, as a son or daughter of God, IT IS TO THE GLORY OF GOD!!!
