Tamale, Ghana – Chief Executive Officer and founder of Pan-African health organization, Africa Health Holdings, Dr Sangu Delle has finally settled on July 31st as the date to officially launch the Sangu Delle Foundation (SDF) in Accra.

SDF was initially scheduled to be launched on March 6th but couldn’t come on as planned. This was made known through an earlier announcement by Dr Delle on his Facebook timeline on his 35th birthday in January this year.

But on Friday May 6th, Dr Delle on his Facebook timeline announced the new date for the launch of SDF.

According to Dr Delle, the SDF will be the umbrella organization for all his philanthropy going forward.

“..I will be capitalizing SDF with an initial endowment of $1 million with a pledge to ultimately grow this endowment to $10 million.”

He explained further, that the SDF will be a grant making foundation that will support local non-profits.

“SDF will be focused on three core pillars: health (initial focus on mental health); education; and job creation. 50% of our grants will benefit Nandom; 30% Ghana ex-Nandom and 20% Africa ex-Ghana.”

The launch of SDF in July according to Dr Sangu Delle would also mark the official closure of CleanACWA, a water and sanitation project which operated for 15 years.

He indicated that the CleanACWA project through the support of others, worked in 160 communities and impacted over 200,000 people.
