Karaga: Ghana Gas Cuts Sod for Construction of Girls Dormitory

Karaga, Ghana-  Ghana National Gas Company Limited has conducted a sod cutting ceremony for the construction of a girls’ dormitory at Pishigu Senior High School in the Karaga District of the Northern Region.

The girls’ dormitory when completed will help alleviate the school’s accommodation challenges.

Ghana Gas has also constructed a 12-unit classroom block for the Senior High School.

Ghana Gas’ Assistant Project Manager, Anyimah Edomgbole, assured the people of Pishigu that the project would be completed within the six-month deadline.

Paramount Chief of Pishigu, Dr. Naa Alhassan Andani, lauded Ghana Gas for building a new 12- unit classroom block and remarked that the girls’ dormitory will help not just Pishigu but also neighboring communities.

Dr. Alhassan Andani also urged the community to develop a habit of maintenance habit so that the project will last longer.

Member of Parliament for Karaga, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adams, praised Ghana Gas for its tremendous support to the Karaga District and urged Ghana Gas to provide the people with an astro-turf facility to develop sports talents among the youth in the area.
