Executive Chef Faila to Represent Ghana at International Horticultural Expo in Doha

Accra, Ghana – Executive Chef Faila Abdul Razak is thrilled to announce her participation in the International Horticultural Expo in Doha, Qatar, representing Ghana on March 9th, 2024, during Ghana Day celebrations.

Chef Faila, a pioneer in the culinary world known for her innovative approach to Ghanaian cuisine, has been invited to collaborate with a resident caterer to showcase the rich flavors and cultural diversity of Ghana through its traditional dishes. She is honored to have been selected to present Ghanaian delicacies such as jollof rice, fried yam, and kelewele accompanied by authentic Ghanaian drinks including millet drink, cocoa drink, and sobolo.

“Participating in the International Horticultural Expo is an incredible opportunity for me to share my passion for Ghanaian cuisine with a global audience,” said Executive Chef Faila. “I’m excited to bring my expertise and creativity to the forefront, highlighting the vibrant culinary traditions of Ghana and contributing to the success of Ghana Day at the Expo.”

Chef Faila will be away from March 6th to March 12th to participate in this prestigious event. She is grateful for the invitation extended by the Ghana Tourism Authority and is committed to representing Ghana with pride and enthusiasm. Throughout her participation, she will be wearing the specially designed “VisitGhana” attire and will actively share her experiences on social media platforms, showcasing the beauty and richness of Ghana’s culinary heritage.
