“Tamale has been in our heart for the past 10-15 years. This year marks our 30th anniversary as an evangelistic ministry and we have decided to celebrate it in a region that we have kept our hold for the past 30 years. So we’re here, about 800 of us from 7 churches and Bishops from 11 international communities.
“22,000 from the over 20 districts in the Northern Region are expected to attend the crusade. The crusade will be in the evenings and pastors’ conference in the mornings beginning Tuesday and ends on Wednesday. 1,500 bibles will be distributed free to all pastors and church leaders.
“Also, there will be youth empowerment sessions on Wednesday and Thursday. About 2,500 youth will be participating and they will be given certificates of participation at the end of the programme. We’re not just here to preach the gospel but to also make the gospel relevant to the community”, Rev. Mensah disclosed to the media.
According to him, “there will be healing, miracles and there will be a lot of deliverances on the crusade ground and so people should come and expectant. God will touch them at this crusade”, he noted.
Founder and Leader of Fountain Gate Chapel International, Rev. Joseph Eastwood Anaba who made a brief stop while on his way to Accra, also commended Rev. Steve Mensah and his twin brother Rev. Stanley Mensah and their wives for taking the decision to hold the crusade in the Northern Region.
He called for God’s blessings upon them and the crusade programme, noting that, it requires a lot of resources to organize such an event which also comes with enormous humanitarian services to the people of the area.
