NDC’s Dr. Kuuire Xmas Message to Nandom People: ‘Don’t be Dispirited by NPP’s Double Track Hardships

Nandom, Ghana – The 2016 National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for the Nandom Constituency, Dr Richard Kuuire, has implored all residents of Nandom and the entire NDC membership not to be dispirited by the excruciating and “double track” hardships that the Nana Akufu-Addo and Dr Mahamudu Bawumia government current has visited on Ghanaians.

He said despite the hardships they are facing under the current government, they should keep smiling at the storm because Christ Jesus has come to comfort them.

He urged them to rededicate themselves to working hard as residents and party for the right leadership in Nandom and the country at large to make glorious occasions such as christmas memorable for all in the future.

In his Christmas message to all Nandom people and members as well as supporters of the NDC, Dr Kuuire said ” The hardships has broken our bank accounts, dissipated our little resources, parents are reeling under pressure to put smiles on the faces of their kids and everybody else, except the few “family and friends”, are on the edge of life. Do not let your heads down or your spirits be broken. Let not the deliberate mudslinging of individual personalities who are trying to help the course of Nandom and the diversionary tactics of this government and its assigns discourage you to looking out for a new leadership.

“However, let us use this Christmas to pray for a new flow in our lives as we jettison this seemingly unending ebbs”.

The former Director-General of the Ghana Prisons Service also reassured the people of Nandom of his desire and readiness to continue to facilitate the development aspirations of Nandom through “the provision of potable water, supporting human development efforts in all spheres and working with other agencies for the welfare of all Nandome even as we look forward to a brighter future and Christmas celebrations with us in the saddle of maning the affairs of Nandom and this country”.

Below is the full statement:

YULETIDE GREETINGS FROM DR RICHARD KUUIRE, 2016 PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATE FOR THE NDC IN NANDOM CONSTITUENCY.

Fellow Countrymen and my brothers and sisters in Nandom, the Christmas tide is with us again. The joy of the New Born King , Jesus Christ illuminates and reverberates in every corner of the world including our beloved Nandom. It is a glorious moment that we have to thank God profusely for his bountiful Grace, Favour, Love and Mercy. It reminds us of our frailties and failures as human beings and the need to reconnect and reconcile through forgiveness and the pursuit of happiness as God has demonstrated through the awesome gift of his son to humanity. We also are called to emulate this wonderful gesture by sharing with all in need, our friends and family: love, gifts and all the merry that goes with Christmas.

Brothers and sisters, may we not be dispirited by the excruciating and “double track” hardships that the current leadership of this country has visited on us. This government has foisted a crisis in our lives when we are suppose to be celebrating Christ. But, let us keep smiling at the storm because Christ is here in our barge and rededicate ourselves to working hard for the right leadership in Nandom and the country at large to make glorious occasions such as Christmas memorable for all in the future.

The hardships has broken our bank accounts, dissipated our little resources, parents are reeling under pressure to put smiles on the faces of their kids and everybody else, except the few “family and friends”, are on the edge of life. Do not let your heads down or your spirits be broken. Let not the deliberate mudslinging of individual personalities who are trying to help the course of Nandom and the diversionary tactics of this government and its assigns discourage you to looking out for a new leadership.

However, let us use this Christmas to pray for a new flow in our lives as we jettison this seemingly unending ebbs.

I will continue to be at the forefront in working to facilitate the development aspirations of Nandom in the provision of portable water, supporting human development efforts in all spheres and working with other agencies for the welfare of all Nandome even as we look forward to a brighter future and Christmas celebrations with us in the saddle of maning the affairs of Nandom and this country.

May this Christmas teach us endurance even as we pray for brighter years ahead.
Merry Christmas and God bless us all .
……….signed. ……..
Dr Richard Kuuire
