Damongo, Ghana – A section of the youth supporting the NPP in the Damongo Constituency of the newly created Savannah Region are threatening to boycott the party and its activities in the coming days.
Speaking exclusively to Bole based Nkilgi FM at a press conference organized in Damongo on Monday, the youth led by the founder of Rebecca Ladies Yahaya Ziblila alias Zea expressed disappointment at the current executives of the party in the constituency led by Chairman Nana Kwame Aboagye.
The youth who said they are “Going Solo” by cutting short their interest in party politics said the Constituency Executives have decided to chase money thereby neglecting its core support base which is the Youth.
According to Yahaya Ziblila, “Our great democracies still tend to think that a stupid man is more likely to be honest than a clever man.
“Our Constituency Executives (some anyway) take advantage of this prejudice by pretending to be even more stupid than nature made them.
“What has suddenly happened to our ever cherished loving Constituency? You need not to look else where for the right answer as lengedary greed has suddenly taken over. In this present case, it is little in accurate for us to hate everything.
“But we are just strongly in favour of common sense, common honesty, common fair share, common respect, and more relevantly, a common goal to victory and to protect that victory.
“We were content with what we had until this selfish lengedary greed, escaped the womb, making some of our Executives repine eligibly to the new baby (greed) thereby selling our Constituency to the highest bidder”.
He continued: “We stand to make light out of darkness, by humbly taking to a solo route and watch as things unfold. Let’s see where your greed and money will lead you to”.
Meanwhile, Bole based Nkilgi FM which has massive listernership in Damongo will speak to Yahaya Ziblila as well the NPP Chairman of the Damongo Constituency Nana Aboagye Kwame today on its morning show which promises to be hot.
