Barhama Ladies Set to Capture Tamale Central Seat For NPP

Tamale, Ghana – Political loyalists group, Barhama Ladies – say they are fully “armed” with campaign messages and activities geared towards attaining victory in the upcoming December 7 general elections for their candidate, Dr. Barhama Anyars, Parliamentary Candidate for the Tamale Central constituency and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as a whole.

Hajia Sayibu Mutiatu Dinnani, Chairperson for Barhama Ladies in an exclusive interview outlined plans and activities taken and yet to be undertaken, as a means to sell their parliamentary candidate and presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to the electorates of Tamale Central constituency.

It will be recalled that on January 1, 2020, Barhama Ladies, undertook a cleanup exercise in the Tamale West Hospital, located in Zogbeli, a suburb of the constituency. The group also donated some biscuits and soft drinks to the children’s ward of the hospital.

The Chairperson for the group revealed that Dr. Barhama Anyars also organized a free health screening for the people of Tamale Central constituency last year, which inspired the group to embark on a visit to the hospital.

Hajia Dinnani further stated that, the idea behind the group’s clean up exercises is to ensure the dream of their candidate towards sanitation in the constituency come to fruition.

She said Barhama Ladies will as part of the Independence Day celebration of Ghana visit another hospital in the Tamale Central constituency for a cleanup exercise and present some items as well.

Barhama Ladies is a political loyalist group which was instituted in May 2019, to campaign towards attaining victory for Dr. Barhama Anyars, NPP’s Parliamentary Candidate for the Tamale Central constituency and the New Patriotic Party as a whole. The group has active membership of over 150 young ladies.
