Tamale, Ghana – Leading telecommunication company, MTN Ghana as part of its mobile money month celebration has handed over a fully furnished two bedroom house to Rita Tetteh, lead character of its first television commercial.
At a short ceremony on Wednesday August 17, 2022 in the Greater Accra Region, elated madam Tetteh was given a pair of scissors to cut the ribbon to her new home in fulfillment of a promised made to her by MTN Ghana during the 10th anniversary celebration of MTN Mobile Money Limited two years ago.
“As part of our MoMo Month celebration, we said thank you to Madam Rita Tetteh, the lead character of the first MoMo TV commercial with a furnished two-bedroom house”, a post by MTN Ghana on its Facebook page said.

Since it’s inception 12 years ago, MTN MoMo has created jobs for hundreds of thousands of Ghanaian youth who operate as momo agents and momo merchants.
It recently launched its annual MoMo month celebration across the country with exciting prizes to be won through a weekly promo that would run until the end of October 2022.
With a mobile voice subscription of over 25 million and over 11 million MoMo subscribers, it commands the biggest share of the Ghanaian market with the widest network coverage and MoMo accessibility.
