Sagnarigu, Ghana – In a heartwarming ceremony, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints handed over newly renovated dormitory and kitchen facilities to the Tamale Children’s Home, with assorted items.
The renovated facilities aim to improve the lives of the children at the orphanage.
The project was made possible through the contributions of Church members worldwide.
Speaking at the ceremony, a leader of the Church’s West Africa Area Elder Isaac K Morrsion, expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the project. He emphasized the importance of caring for the fatherless and widows, as taught in the New Testament.
The Church’s humanitarian efforts extend globally, with projects aimed at promoting goodness and supporting the social, economic, and spiritual well-being of communities.
The renovated facilities were officially handed over to the Tamale Children’s Home, with the hope that they will provide comfort and support to many children for years to come.
