Wa, Ghana – The Upper West Regional office of the Ghana Water Company Limited, says it will soon undertake an 18 kilometre water distribution expansion project in the region.
The project, worth about GH¢324,000 is expected to improve water delivery in the Wa Municipality and some communities in Wa West District.
The Regional Distribution Manager of GWCL, Edward Kwabena Agyapong, disclosed this when the Parliamentary Select Committee on Water, Works and Housing visited the region to assess the social and economic viability of the Lambussie Water Project which was inaugurated last year.
