How to Find True Love

As a counselor, lots of people keep asking me how do I find a true love, how do I know he/she loves me, what shows this relationship will lead to marriage. Today, I am taking my time to address that. Before you find your soulmate, you must first discover your soul.

Too many people are trying to find the right person instead of becoming the right person but once you realize how valuable you are, you will find it hard to keep the company of those who are not!

True love comes from God. Anyone who wants to experience true love should first find God. When it comes to marriage, a woman’s heart must be hidden in the LORD for a man to find. Women don’t find husbands, it’s a husband that finds a wife, that’s why the bible says He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favour from God.

Whatever you want, you first have to become that so when you meet it, you will know. What you are will attract what you want.

When you meet someone, no matter how fine or beautiful they are or how great of a body they have, you still have to find out who and what is inside of them and fall in love with their spirit and soul!

People share what is within and not what is outside, that is why character speaks volumes when it comes to relationship.

Everything on this earth has it specialist; when it comes to marriage, relationship, knowing someone, God is the best person to go to. Prayer is a key. Bury all past relationships and move on, have your requirements, for requirement meets requirement. Above all, have love. Marriage/relationship is about sharing, what you have is what you share and bring to the table.

Do you have love? What is love? How do I know I have true love? The best definition for love is found in 1 Corinthians 13:4-6; Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

Just substitute your name in place of love and see if you can pass this test. Once you pass it, you have true love and you should know if anyone who comes your way has the same values.

ALWAYS remember the path that leads to love is so narrow that TWO cannot walk on it unless they become ONE

In conclusion “Love is more important than anything else. It is what ties everything completely together” – Colossians 3:14 (CEV).
