Bole, Ghana – The Bole-Bamboi Constituency Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), David Sei Demah, has asked His Chairman, Zakaria Sulemana and Deputy Secretary, Abunjoa Felix, not to drag the whole party into their dirty plot to get the hardworking District Chief Executive sacked.
According to Mr. Demah, the Constituency Chairman and Deputy Secretary in their recent petition to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, urging him to sack the DCE Veronica Alele Heming, was ill-motivated.
In a three and half page rejoinder copied to Savannahnewsonline.com, he described the petition of the two party officers and their cohorts as lacking concrete reasons to warrant the removal of Madam Veronica as DCE for Bole.
“…..we want to reiterate that the NPP Bole-Bamboi Constituency Chairman and his cronies have not got any concrete reasons for seeking the removal of our hardworking Hon. DCE from office. We therefore advise them to seek for ways by which they can unite the party for the benefit of all of us….
“We wish to state categorically that it is not all the Constituency Executive Committee that is seeking for the removal of the Hon. DCE from office as they want people to believe. The Constituency Chairman and his cronies cannot also impose their will on majority of party members in the Constituency for their parochial interest”, Mr. Demah admonished.
The Bole-Bamboi NPP Constituency Secretary urged Chairman Sulemana and his conspirators to change their divisive attitude because their actions according to him are costing the fortunes of the party which are being enhanced by the DCE since she assumed office.

RE: BOLE/BAMBOI CONSTITUENCY EXECUTIVES CALL FOR THE IMMEDDIATE REMOVAL OF THE DISTRICT CHIEF EXECUTIVE MADAM VERONICA ALELE HEMING
It has come to our attention (some constituency executives, party elders, patrons, communicators, electoral area coordinators, polling station executives, women wings and the youth wing) that the constituency Chairman and the constituency deputy secretary who claimed to be the constituency secretary and some few other constituency executives have written a petition to His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo the President of the Republic of Ghana, seeking the removal of our hardworking DCE for Bole, Hon. Madam Veronica Alele Heming, from office for no crime.
We wish to state categorically that it is not all the constituency executives committee that is seeking for the removal of the Hon. DCE from office as they want people to believe. The constituency chairman and his cronies cannot also impose their will on the majority of party members in the constituency for their parochial interest.
1. One of the allegations against the Hon. DCE was that she does not attend funerals, naming ceremonies and other social gatherings. This is a baseless allegation as the Hon. DCE attends such functions across the District whenever she was invited. Even situations where she was out of the District on official duties, she sent some party executives to stand in for her.
2. Another allegation for the petition was that the constituency executives had invited the Hon. DCE to their meetings five times which she failed to attend. It is on record that that from day one when the constituency chairman was re-elected, he said on several occasions that he was going to make sure the Hon. DCE is remove from office within six months because he cannot work with a woman as DCE. So they do not even invite her to their meetings although she is also an executive member by the NPP constitution. It is therefore on record that the Hon. DCE has been complaining about this to the constituency secretary why they have not been inviting her for their meetings and the answer has always been Chairman says he cannot work with you as a woman and so he would not invite you to any of our meetings.
3. The chairman also alleged that the Hon. DCE does not respect Traditional Authorities, opinion leaders and party members and that this has forced some members to defect to the opposition NDC. This is naked lies. The initiatives of the Hon. DCE in the District like the nursing of 80,000 cashew seedlings to be supplied to over 1000 farmers in the District, the construction of prayer ground for Bole township, the construction two CHIP compounds at Doli and Konjumah, construction of a 2 No 12 market stalls at Tinga market and other initiatives have rather won a lot of hearts for the NPP in the constituency. It is rather the actions and inactions of the constituency chairman and his cronies that rather cause disaffection for many party members in the constituency. For example, because the chairman sensed the danger of losing the last executive elections, he colluded with the former regional chairman, Bugri-Naabu, to delete the names over 105 party elders, patrons, polling stations executive from the constituency album across the constituency without conducting elections. This has since caused disaffection among party members across the constituency. Some concerned party elders like Dr. Achanso and others wrote petitions upon petitions to the regional and national executives of the party on the issue but Bugri-Naabu will not listen to anybody! This helped the chairman to win the election.
4. They also alleged that the Hon. DCE does not visit the communities in the area. This allegation is completely false. The people in the area will attest to the fact that the Hon. DCE has been visiting various communities in the District since she was appointed and confirmed as a DCE. For instance, the Hon. DCE has visited so many communities to attend funerals, cut sod for commencement of projects, commissioning of projects, attend festival or visit sick people.
5. The chairman also lied that the Hon. DCE told one of her aid whose name they could not even mention that she want to recoup all the moneys the she invested in her 2016 parliamentary election campaign and that she had already saved 300, 000 Ghana Cedis. The Hon. Does not have an aid. The DCE has rather been using her own resources to cater for party members needs and welfare. For example, she spent so much on the medical bills of one of the party communicators in the constitutions before resorting to His Excellency the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for support for the gentleman. She has been doing this not for party members alone but everybody who needs support from her as DCE.
We have taken keen interest in this issue because we have the development of the Bole District and the party at heart and so we the majority of the party members are calling on the president, His Excellency NANA ADDO DANKWA AKUFFO ADDO to disregard the content of the petition and treat it with the contempt that it deserves. We want to reiterate that the chairman and his few cronies cannot decide for the Constituency Executive Committee members, Party Communicators and Supporters in the Constituency.
We also want to state that the party constituency chairman (Mr. Zakaria Sulemana), the Deputy Secretary (Abunjoa Felix) and their cronies have no moral right to ask for the removal of our hardworking DCE (Hon. Veronica Alele Heming).
Below are the reasons why we believed the Chairman and the Deputy Secretary have not got the moral right to call for the removal of the DCE:
1. The constituency Chairman and his cronies are known to be fighting all party high profile personalities from the constituency without any provocation. They fought the following people in the area: Dr. Sulemana Adams Achanso (a former DCE and three times former Parliamentary Candidate), Hon. Otiko Afisah Djaba (former Parliamentary Candidate and current Minister of Women, Children and Social Protection) and now they are fighting Hon. Veronica Alele Heming (immediate past Parliamentary Candidate and Current DCE for Bole) since her election as NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency for the 2016 election and since she was appointment as the DCE up to date.
2. The Chairman and his cronies in the run up to the 2016 Election formed an alliance with the NDC parliamentary Candidate (Alhaji Yussif Sulemana) and were openly campaigning against their own party Parliamentary Candidate just because they were alleged to have received some moneys from the NDC to assist them in the campaign, which affected the partys performance in the last election in the constituency.
3. This same Chairman and his cronies extorted money from all party members who were contesting for the DCE position in the Bole District after NPP Electoral victory. They picked filing fees of two hundred Ghana Cedis (GH C 200.00) each from 15 aspirants before receiving their application letters which were to be forwarded to Tamale. How on earth would any serious constituency leader extort money from his own Party members in such a wicked manner?
In conclusion, we want to reiterate that the NPP Bole-Bamboi Constituency Chairman and his cronies have not got any concrete reasons for seeking the removal of our hardworking Hon. DCE from office. We therefore advise them to seek for ways by which they can unite the party for the benefit of all of us. If for nothing at all, they should know that their actions are causing the fortunes of the party in the Bole District so they need to change their divisive attitude for the better!
Long Live Nana Addos Government
Long Live NPP
Long Live NPP Bole-Bamboi Constituency
