Nana And His Cousin Should Show Us Results After 19-Months In Office – Joyce Bawah

Accra, Ghana – Founder of the Danquah Institute, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko has come under a barrage of attacks over denigrating comments he passed on his facebook page about former President John Dramani Mahama.

Moments after Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo-Prampram, Sam George took him to the cleaners in a rather sarcastic way, Spokesperson for the former President, Joyce Bawah Mogtari has joined in the fray advising him to ask President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the Finance Minister to account to Ghanaians the stewardship of the current administration 19-months after taking over power.

She has in a Facebook post sighted by MyNewsGh.com, demanded that Gabby should, as a matter of fact, ask President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Ken Ofori Atta to fulfill the litany of campaign promises made to Ghanaians and also show what results they have achieved 19-months after taking over power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Maybe Gabby should be telling Ghanaians what President Akufo-Addo and his cousin, Ken, have done and what the results of that have been in the last 19 months.

President Mahama tweeted about the state of businesses today, and as you will notice your own NPP sympathisers and business people have come to confirm the worsening business environment today. The myriad of taxes you are planning to introduce, which John Mahama wrote about, will further worsen the challenges confronting the business sector.

Come to think of it, it is you who went testing the waters about the planned increase in the VAT rate, which is just one of the unfavourable actions Akufo-Addo intends to introduce, and I hope you reviewed the reactions of Ghanaians.

Ghanaians are today reeling under the effects of the poor management of the economy, with prices of basic items skyrocketing every passing day, not to talk about the deteriorating access to quality health care and facilities.

The people expect a more humble and dedicated service from its elected officers, not this defensive posturing and increasing corruption in and around the Presidency.

John Mahama will always be remembered for his transformation of the Ghanaian economy, the improvements to infrastructure, construction and expansion of access to health and educational facilities across the country.

Please point out just one school, or health facility, or road, or economic project your promise and fail, family and friends Nana Addo has commenced work on in this country.
