Local news reports indicates that, at about 4pm on Tuesday April 17, 2018, the deceased whose is yet to be identified took shelter in a church building together with his siblings.

Feeling uncomfortable with the storm, he left and started running home but got hit by the flying roof. He got injured and was rushed to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, NADMO  has given assurance of some assistance to victims of the rainstorm.

Mr. Issahaque Ghana told local radio station Radford FM, he has requested for a report of the extent of damage.
