Bole, Ghana – The NPP Chairman for Bole, Sulemana Zakaria has told Polling Station Executives of NPP in the Bole- Bamboi constituency that he has not been given any sugar to be shared amongst them and directed them to the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bole Madam Veronica Alele Heming.
Some NPP Polling Station Executives of NPP in the Bole- Bamboi Constituency have accused the NPP Chairman of keeping 10 bags of sugar that has been given to him by the DCE to be shared amongst them as part of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.
According to the Polling Station Executives they don’t understand why fasting is now almost half way but they have not received sugar from any government official or party executive.
But the NPP Chairman said he was informed by a Regional Executive of NPP that the DCE will give them 10 bags but even before the sugar got to him Polling Station Executives have accused of him keeping the sugar given to him by the DCE.
The NPP Chairman said all Executives of NPP in Bole-Bamboi have rejected the sugar except the party Secretary David Dema who they heard is keeping the sugar.
Chairman Zakaria accused the DCE of sidelining Executives of the party in Bole and has been working with old Executives who were defeated at their last election.
