Damongo, Ghana – The King and Overlord of the Gonja Traditional Council Yagbonwura Tuntumba Boresa Sulemana Jakpa, has invited all paramount chiefs and a representative each from the various gates from their traditional areas to a stakeholders meeting in Damongo tomorrow Saturday 8th September, 2018.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the unfinished business concerning the creation of the proposed Savanna Region and the way forward.
A statement signed by the Registrar of the Gonja Traditional Council Mr. Abutu Kapori says the Yagbonwura entreats all Paramount Chiefs, representatives from each gate of the respective traditional areas and all stakeholders to treat the invitation with the urgency it requires without fail.
