Yendi, Ghana – The King of Dagban, Ndan Yaa Naa Abukari II has urged the youth of the kingdom to emulate the hardwork and discipline of winner of TV3 Mentor Reloaded, Mohammed Lukman (Optional King) in their endeavours.
The Dagbon leader said Optional King’s victory was as a result of his discipline and hardwork, hence the need for him to be emulated by the youth.
In his congratulatory message to the young rapper who won the music competition show on TV3 Sunday night, Ndan Yaa Naa Abukari II encouraged him to “showcase Dagbon culture with his new found platform”.
A statement signed by Dr Mahama Sayibu, grandson of the King said “the King hopes the victory will create more opportunities for the Dagbon youth to showcase their talents to the rest of the world”.
It reminded the youth to maintain the peace in Dagbon especially as the country prepares for this year’s Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.
