Dr Sangu Delle Enskinned “Maalu Naa” of Nandom Traditional Area

Tamale, Ghana – Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Africa Health Holdings, Dr Sangu Delle was on Sunday July 31, 2022 enskinned as the Maalu Naa (Development Chief) of the Nandom Traditional Area.

This follows the launch of the much awaited Sangu Delle Foundation, an organization which would serve as the medium for all his charity programs in Nandom, Ghana and Africa.

Paramount Chief of Nandom Traditional Area HRM Naa Prof Nminyem Delle Chiir VIII and father of Dr Sangu Delle charged him to continue on the course he has chosen to take.

In his acceptance speech, Maalu Naa Dr Delle said “…I humbly accept this great honor and responsibility and pledge my undying loyalty and dedication to the development of Nandom and the upliftment of our people.”

The enskinment and launch of the Sangu Delle Foundation brought together friends, colleagues, school mates, business partners and family members of Dr Delle at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.

According to Dr Delle, the SDF would be the umbrella organization for all his philanthropy work going forward.

He would be capitalizing SDF with an initial endowment of $1 million with a pledge to ultimately grow this endowment to $10 million.”

He explained further, that the SDF would be a grant making foundation that would support local non-profits.

‘it will focus on three core pillars: health; education; and job creation. 50% of our grants will benefit Nandom; 30% Ghana ex-Nandom and 20% Africa (excluding Ghana).’

The launch of the Foundation also marked the official closure of CleanACWA, a water and sanitation project which Dr Delle co-founded and operated for 15 years.
