Below is the Facebook post by Mr Kotin

Good morning good people of Ghana. I am just coming from the community 18 police station after I was asaulted by some very bad nuts in the service who are dragging the hard earned reputation of their colleagues. They even took away my GH 2000. I don’t know some of Ghana Police personnels are thieves. What is my offense? After a family meeting I came to my car, and there was an incoming vehicle which flashed the headlights that momentarily got me blind. I raised my hand in opposition and when the car got nearer the driver of the vehicle said to me “I was a stupid man”. Realizing it was a police car, I asked the driver what I did wrong to warrant such an insult. Then heaven broke loose!! He came out of the car and punched my face. I asked what nonsense he was doing? Then his colleagues came and joined him and try to bundled into their car. I asked what my offense to warrant this treatment and they responded “for insulting a public officer”. I don’t know that it is a criminal offense to question a police officer for an assault on a harmless civilian in Ghana. They did their worse and tore my trousers, gave me some punches and used the head of their guns to hit my ribs. I lost my wrist watch in the process and the immobilizer remote on my car keys and handcuffed me and bundled me into their car. One of the officers said I think I know people, they were sent by these same big men to do this to me.
This is what happens to so many innocent Ghanaians on a daily basis and this comes to my desk on a daily basis as stories until I became a victim.
Ghana Police I want to know who sent these men on car registration number GP4639, operation calm life to come and do this to an innocent person like me. A person who have always watched your back, and advocated for the retooling of this noble service sometimes at the peril of my life?
Who ever sent these unprofessional police personnels to attack me cannot silent my resolve in my advocacy work for Mother Ghana. I am serving notice this issue will not rest here and I have instructed my lawyers to take the appropriate action. As for my money, wrist watch and the immobilizer of my car, it must be returned immediately without any further delay. And these thieves of a police must be duly sanctioned.
See you in court very soon, and an exemplar must be made of these guys to serve as deterrent to others who go about molesting innocent civilians in the name of the uniform. That is me after some senior police officers head about the incidence and instructed for my release. That’s Ghana for you!!!!
